What To Expect
Once You Are Home
Weekly Visit
A nurse will schedule a time to have your weekly IV dressing changed, labs drawn (if ordered) and assess for any other needs.
Weekly Medication
A Clinical Coordinator will call to evaluate your individual needs once a week. A pharmacist will prepare your weekly medication and supplies to be delivered to your home. They will ask:
- What supplies do you have?
- How does your site look?
- Are you having any drainage, redness, etc.?
- Are you having other problems (fever and/or pain)?
- Do you have any new medications?
Enteral Patients
Our PCR will call to evaluate your individual situation. They will ask:
- How are your feedings going?
- How much formula are you taking daily?
- Do you have any nausea, vomiting, constipation or are you running a fever?
